Threats, can’t see ever being free. Feeling low

I’m thinking of the things he has said to me previously. The thing that sticks in my mind that he said “wherever you go I will be watching”. Why are they like this. I wish he could just be a normal man.
At least while I am still living here I know what he’s doing. I hate this hold he has on me.

I’m sorry to hear about how you are feeling, perpetrators of domestic abuse do everything to exert their control over the relationship.
Everything he says to you is designed to wear you down and keep you there. He knows what he is doing, all abusers do.
Continue to talk about it with others, the more you see what he is doing the clearer things will become.
