I am sat waiting to see if one of our kids is still pregnant. Devastating to see them both like this. The days of waiting for an appointment to find out.
I told their dad but said they didn’t want a fuss or pity. Today is the day we find out. As I was leaving to pick them up he asked if I loved him? I was like, what? Now? Seriously how can he not see that it’s not about him? The kids need support not him being pathetic and needy.

The scary thing is he probably did see it wasn’t about him, which is why he made it about him. He was scared that the attention was moving away from him, so he had to bring it back by baiting you into an emotionally charged situation. He was willing to sacrifice the love and support your child needs to fill his own need for attention.

I am so sorry he’s made a hard situation even worse. My thoughts are with you and your child.

Thanks, unfortunately they have lost the baby. Have dropped them home to comfort each other. It’s awful seeing them like this knowing there is nothing you can say or do to help them except be there If needed.

I am so sorry to hear about the baby. As you give them space to heal, I hope you can find ways to take care of yourself and mourn your loss as well.
