Transfer of Tenancy

  Hi,
  
  I left my abuser (detail removed by Moderator) years ago and am currently applying for a transfer of tenancy as he is still in the house (council). I have our child with me.
  
  What is the chances of being granted a transfer of tenancy into my sole name? (detail removed by Moderator) I am sooooo stressed out about this.
  
  Has anyone gone through this and got their home back?

  HI Missbutterfly
  I am no expert as I only learnt about transfer of tenancy this week – it was my local womens aid office who told me this was a possibility. They also had a number of a solicitor. Have you called the helpline at all?
