      Hi Ladies,

Has anyone else contacted Victim Support for advice and support? I have just come across them and they seem to have a team who deal with domestic abuse, whether you have reported it as a crime or not? What were your experiences with them if you have?

Have to say wasn’t overly impressed with the person I spoke to at my local WA the other day. And feel like I can’t go to my other local one as I have discovered that someone who knows me and him work there so possible conflict of interest.

      With love,

      Overcome.

Hey, I thought they were great. Even now once a month they contact me to check in on me and it’s several years later. I’d definitely contact them for a chat and to see what they can do for you. You may meet women in this process who you just don’t click with so keep looking until you find a winner!

Thank you KIP, I am currently waiting for an online chat with someone from WA and then will give VS a call. That sounds like they are very supportive if they are still getting in touch with you 🙂

Yes agree, they’ve been great with me; it’s a good rescource; it’s been mostly emotional support but they have given me advice as well, it was actually VS that gave me the confidence to call the police x
