Police called about my video interview that I have to do. They asked if I wanted help from victim support. Has anyone used their services? I dunno what to expect. What do they do?

I found them a great help. They have a website. It’s volunteers who will help with advice about court. Support you, hold your hand if you need someone. They advised me about my rights. Rang me every few weeks after the trial. They basically support victims of crime. I would speak to them and see what help they can offer you.

They’re great. They’ve taken all of the chasing & coordination over for me (police, social services etc) which was really stressing me out & they’re providing counselling for the children. I genuinely don’t know what I’d do without them at the moment xx
