      Could it be MARAC……..?

A Marac is a regular local meeting to discuss how to help victims at high risk of serious harm. A domestic abuse specialist (Idva), police, children’s social services, health and other relevant agencies all sit around the same table. They talk about the victim, the family and perpetrator, and share information. The meeting is confidential.

Together, the meeting writes an action plan for each victim. They work best when everyone involved understands their roles and the right processes to follow. We call these meetings Maracs, but they are also referred to as a multi-agency risk assessment conference.

I think they would look at all the facts but their main concern would be if you are exposing your children to abuse. Directly or indirectly. It’s easy for an abuser to behave himself for a while when he needs to but it never lasts. It’s better to come from a broken home than an abusive one. Be very careful because he’s a liar and a manipulator and can easily lie about you. You need to be seen to be putting your children first and living with a man who assaults them will not help your case.
