      I honestly don’t think I’ll ever fully believe he abused me and it wasn’t my fault or simply that we weren’t rite for each other. The only thing I can fundamentally say was abusive was the violence… but even then i can still understand why he did it

      Starmoon. I was exactly where you are. It takes time for us to see the full picture. For the fog to clear. You know the difference between a happy healthy respectful relationship. You just need to know that you deserve one x

      Hi Starmoon,
      I completely identify with your post (like the majority on here)
      My self blaming was daily and still is, “if I had done this/that he wouldn’t have hit me, or if only I did’t say that or did that”
      So many things Starmoon and so many days I think my life would be better back with him but I know, I just can’t,for my own safety.

      Kip is correct, we just need the fog to clear.
