theres been some misunderstanding. I was with my family originally then I went to live with him for the first time when that didn’t work out I left to go and live in a completely new place so that he wouldn’t know where I was.

i wanted to update after all this time
for a number of reasons I decided to go for it and move back to the area I was in originally where my family are.
the police put some kind of protection on so that he is barred from making contact with me (although that only lasts for a period of time and  it worries me that he’s probably waiting for it to be over). if he ever turns up I could call and they would be out right away as a matter of urgency, luckily it hasn’t happened yet.

I don’t know if you know this but if you charge your ex with abuse, you can stop him from seeing your impressionable children and have his parental rights removed. nothing terrible would happen to him but it would do you the word of good and give you back the power

Maybe you think he’s giving another relationship a go and are wondering why he’d be kind to her and not to you and think it was somehow your fault. But the person he is with could’ve been anyone but the one thing they all have in common with eachother is they are being manipulated and abused. There was nothing you could’ve said or done, wore, worked as, that person needs help within themselves
