I’m not 100% sure if I can because it wasn’t actually my ex that assaulted me
However I have got everything numbers off the police from other things that have happened so it’s a grey area. I need a bit of guidance so I hope when I see my solicitor Monday or women’s aid call me back that they can clear this up for me. At the moment I’ve been told no as its a private matter not a domestic incident? But we shall see now I have those numbers X

She rang the police as she opened said that night she tried to set me up.
The police took a statement and could see the shoe mark on my face and my cut legs that are scarred. He’s applied for a court order I’ve had the letter today now I’m petrified. I’ve rang 101 and I’m filing assault now to try and safe guard my children against a monster. I feel so helpless and scared but I’m scared of opening up incase it’s used against me in court.. I ain’t mentally unstable but I do fear for my safety every time I go out. I’ve phoned women’s aid today they’ve taken my details and are calling me back but I jus feel suffocated like I need answers. My babies are the only thing that gives me happiness and I just couldn’t bare the thought of them being in her care right now. Xx

The police were called I have a statement but she told them she would make a claim against me even though I didn’t do anything.
They knew I’m at college studying (detail removed by moderator) and anything on a criminal record would mess it all up.
The police said we would both get cautioned if we both made claims. I dropped it as I wanted a career to better my children’s lives. Now I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place
