      Hi Daff.
I was taking antidepressants and anxiolytics for years while I was still married.
Soon after my divorce I was told I didn’t need them. I got help from a psychologist.
I’m trying to manage without them though sometimes it’s hard.
Today I was thinking of asking my GP if I should take them again.
That’s why I’m in the Forum now. This isn’t easy. I sometimes feel I won’t be able to enjoy life again.
Reading your comments helps me feel understood and less lonely. I hope with time the bad days will be less frecuent and not as dark.
We’re strong intelligent women. We’re survivors and we should be proud of ourselves.

I wouldn’t go back to my abusive ex even though he was the last man on Earth!
I don’t know if this will help you.
I’d always wanted to have children.
I find it hard to confess this but I wish I hadn’t met my ex even if that meant not having had my kids. It isn’t only the emotional harm he’s caused me, it’s also the way he’s manipulated our children and turned them against me. And noticing my son treating me the way his father did is heartbreaking.

      Hi everyone.
Thank you for accepting me in this forum.
Luckily, I’m divorced now but I’m still dealing with the psicological pain caused by my ex.
My relationship with my adolescent son and daughter is being complicated.
I can’t talk about what I feel like to anybody. They don’t seem to understand or believe me.
I’m in my (detail removed by moderator) and I don’t think I’ll be able to trust any other man to become a partner.
I find reading your experiences and advice very useful.
