It’s definitely abuse and you should really consider leaving, there is no excuse for this kind of behaviour and it also sounds to me the guy is a total loser.

You could also consider contacting childline, they are also very good at giving advice on the best way take things in regards grooming behaviour something I would have like to have been around. when I have been in the same position.

Another idea you could consider is by asking him to move out and then consider, getting a temporary restraining order.
