thanks for your replies. I’m waiting for police to get victim support to help me at the moment. Not sure how long it will take though. The police will have visited him in prison by now…..he will be as angry as hell!! I just hope that even if this doesn’t go to court that he is kept away from me after they let him out of jail.

there was another reply on here but it has gone. I logged on to reply to it as I was too upset when I first read it. It was so negative. I come here for support – not to have strips torn off me. I’m having second thought about using this forum now.
KIP, I am starting to calm down – I think. I’m keeping busy with things I like to do. After all, what happened does not define me, it defines him and what he is.

Thank you for your reply. I’ve had no contact for a long time and don’t ever plan on having any. Everything he says is lies anyway. I did the freedom programme just after I left him. I still have the book, and still look at it from time to time. My adult life is similar story really. Crappy boyfriends who just used me or abused me. I think it started when I was a teen after my mum got married to a guy who treated me badly. He pushed me up against a wall and screamed in my face a few times. More recently he called my child a tub of lard. Freedom programme helped me to realise there was more than one abusive man in my life. I cut him out too! Feel much better for it.

My ex did the sleep rape thing, made ‘jokes’ about how dead women can’t say no etc. I played it down. He’s now got years of prison time to contend with as he turned out to be a dangerous sex offender. I’ve just reported him too for what he did to me.

I’m glad you have family around. I’m not so lucky. My mum said there was my version, my ex’s version and then there was the truth. She has rubbished my mental health problems. I have no contact with her now. I think she is a disgrace tbh. Hopefully ur family can help you through. Welcome 🙂

My divorce is going through while he is in prison and I’m selling the house he stole from me too 🙂 Great feeling isn’t it

It can cost thousands to get tenant out via the courts 🙁 Solicitor tomorrow so hopefully they can give some hope

I have a solicitors appointment this week. He has got his family to keep the money off the house from me while in prison (yes they’re horrid facilitators who still take his side??????????????) crazy people eh!

Update. Two policemen came to the house and took the initial details. I am now waiting for CID to contact me. After I told them about his criminal record they said the sooner he is behind bars the better. Little did I know he already was. I have made a new post about this but thought I would update here too. He’s going to be in prison for a number of years for sex offences. AND its in the papers and all over social media. He has no scope to play the victim ever again 🙂

I don’t have any friends and I find it hard to socialise at all. I talk to people at uni but that’s about it. I do worry I will just fade into obscurity and be lonely.
